Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and YourTaskBuddy for using YourTaskBuddy. By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

You need to be 18 or over and to give a real email address. Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what happens in your account. In a team space, the owner and admins can see and manage the team's tasks.

What Buddy does, and what you decide

Buddy prepares work for you: research, drafts, plans, reports, emails and calendar invites. It shows you its plan first, and it never sends an email or adds an event until you approve that exact version. You decide what is sent and what you rely on.

AI can make mistakes. Check what Buddy makes before you use it, especially facts, figures, dates and anything legal, medical or financial. Research comes with source links so you can check them.

Fair use

Don't use YourTaskBuddy to break the law, send spam or unwanted bulk messages, harass anyone, deceive people, or try to get around limits or security. Emails you send through Buddy come from your own account and must follow the law and Google's rules. We may pause an account that puts others at risk.

Your content

What you write and what Buddy makes for you is yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.

Plans and payments

• Free includes 3 new tasks a month. Starter and Pro include more, as shown on the pricing section of the front page.
• Paid plans renew every month through Paystack until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in Make it yours; you keep the plan until the end of the month you paid for.
• Payments are not refunded for part of a month, except where the law requires it.
• If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal.

The service

We work to keep YourTaskBuddy running and your work safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or stop features; if we stop the service, we will give you notice and a way to export your work.

Liability

As far as the law allows, YourTaskBuddy is provided as it is, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for losses caused by relying on work you approved without checking it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.

Ending

You can close your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why where we can.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
